Douglas A. McDuff has practiced in Florida for 37-plus years as a trial
lawyer. During that time, he has had the pleasure of having defended
clients in a wide array of cases, involving motor vehicle and truck accidents, premises liability, products liability, medical and allied health professional liability, accountant and legal malpractice, general insurance law and bad faith actions.
Mr. McDuff was born in Miami, Florida in 1952, and enjoyed his early
childhood growing up on Key Biscayne. He attended Ursinus College in
Pennsylvania, graduating in 1974 with a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and a minor in Economics. Following graduation from college, Mr. McDuff attended StetsonCollege of Law in Gulfport, FL. He received his Juris Doctorate in 1977. He is admitted to practice before all courts in the State of Florida, as well as the United States District Courts in the Southern, Middle and Northern Districts of Florida. In addition, he is admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals, Eleventh Circuit. Mr. McDuff maintains an AV rating by Martindale-Hubbell, the highest level attainable by a practicing attorney.
When not attending to the defense of the firm's clients, Mr. McDuff, as a
Master Scuba Diver, is an avid underwater photographer. In addition, he
has also been a licensed radio amateur operator, Extra Class, for over 46
years and participates in international radio competitions.
